Join Philadelphia Outward Bound staff for Rock Climbing Community Day!
Starting at 10am, anyone ages 8+ can register to rock climb at The Discovery Center. Each participant can climb the wall up to three times.
Climbing times:
10:15am-11:15am
11:20am-12:20pm
1:00pm-2:00pm
2:10pm-3:10pm
3:20pm-4:00pm
Each climbing time allows up to 10 participants and those who are with you but not climbing may be asked to wait outside of the climbing room.
Once participants register in the Visitor Center and sign waivers (participants under 18 must have a guardian with them to sign), they’ll get into harnesses and helmets and be guided by staff on how and where to climb. All visitors must be masked indoors at the Center.*
^RULES FOR MINORS
Minors 8+ must have their risk and liability waiver signed by their legal guardian.
A youth size harness and helmet will be available at registration, it must fit the child properly in order to proceed.
Verbal permission or text permission is not acceptable.
