Join Audubon staff at The Discovery Center as we screen the birding (aka birdwatching) focused romantic comedy “The Big Year.” Rated PG for language and some sensuality.’

Steve Martin, Jack Black, and Owen Wilson star as a group of seasoned birdwatchers all intent on setting the world record for the number of birds seen in a calendar year.

Alongside the film we will be creating valentine’s day crafts in the form of homemade birdfeeders and homemade paper cards for you to give to your loved ones. Followed by a walk around the Strawberry Mansion Reservoir to spot our own species, and maybe even start our own “Big Year.”

Birdfeeder and card making begins at 1pm

Movie screening begins at 2pm
